Paula

Hi!  I’m Paula.  After spending most of my life living in the South, I discovered that the skiing is much better here in Utah, and there aren’t as many hurricanes or mosquitoes.

A lawyer by trade, parent by calling and community volunteer by conscience, I try to spend my “free” time on the mountain with the great friends I’ve met here.

Skimums is my way to legitimize leaving the laundry unfolded for just a few more hours on a Wednesday morning.

Julie

I’m Julie – nature lover, travel nut, and wannabe movie critic currently raising the 4th generation of skiers in our family.

I credit my parents and grandparents for instilling a love for the great outdoors, and especially skiing from childhood.

When I am not serving as my kids’ taxi, volunteering in the school, or scrubbing/dusting/folding, you will find me on the slopes, in yoga class, or snowshoeing/hiking Utah’s canyons.

I am also passionate about my friendships and keeping them strong, and there is no better place for connection and pure “mountain therapy” than at Snowbird with the Skimums!

Valerie

I’m Valerie.

I’m a transplant from Oregon and have taken up skiing much later in life than many of those fortunate to grow up in the shadow of the Wasatch Range.

I love the constant physical and mental challenge that skiing offers.  Every ski day brings different snow conditions, weather, and terrain that keep me on my toes and ever striving to adapt and improve.

I look forward to Wednesdays when I can enjoy the morning with snow, sun and friends.  It’s my favorite time of the week!

I’m Nicole.  Skiing, camping and mountain biking are my passion when not at work as a Banker.  I enjoy weekends skiing with three generations; my children and their grandparents.

Ski Mums at Snowbird is fun way to take a morning off to ski with other moms and meet new friends.  Can’t wait for the next powder day at Snowbird!!

Denice here — I am the proud mom of 8 girls ranging in ages from 9 to 24.  I own 3 restaurants with my husband.  I have been snowplowing behind my kids for many years and I’m ready to graduate to the “big girl” runs!!  I have now made my own play date with great friends on Wednesday mornings at Snowbird.
